Emmanuel Makwaya, widely known as Mwl Makwaya, is a dedicated teacher of the Word of God and a prolific author. His notable works include “Kuwa ni Kufanya” (To Be is To Do), “Uhusiano wa Mtu na Mungu” (Relationship with God), “Hazina ya Penzi” (Treasure of Love), and the “Tujifunze kwa…” series, among others. Besides his writing, he is a poet and a sought-after speaker at various conferences, particularly those aimed at young people and students.

 

Emmanuel is married to Debora Makwaya, and they are blessed with three children: two daughters, Greatness and Goodness, and a son, Gratus. He holds a degree in Economics and Finance from the Institute of Accountancy Arusha and a Bachelor’s in Governance and Development from Ms TCDC College. Since 2006, he has been traveling across the country, teaching the Word of God and inspiring young people to read books.
